Dr. Kerby was born and raised in Bloomfield. Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa and graduated from the College of Dentistry in the class of 2004. Outside of general dentistry, Dr. Kerby also has a key interest in root canals, implants, orthodontics and oral surgery. He and his wife, Lisa, currently reside in Washington, Iowa. Together they have seven children ranging from ages 1 to 15, they are all AVID Iowa Hawkeye football fans. They enjoy Harley rides and bowling, watching their children in activities, and getting together with extended family and friends. Dr. Kerby coaches basketball and baseball in Keota where his wife teaches preschool. This is her 13th year teaching. 

 

The practice is being purchased by Dr. Eric De Boef, who is passionate about preserving private practice in dentistry. Dr. De Boef started a consulting company to oversee the growth of his vision and entering into Washington became a part of that vision. Dr. Kerby is a local Iowa dentist who also shares the same passion for dentistry and patient care. Dr. Kerby will be working as the full time dentist and associate at Restoration Dental & Implant Center.

 

Both Dr. De Boef and Dr. Kerby feel strongly about supporting Iowa communities and want to help maintain a small town feel. This includes reliable care that can be found by having a dentist living in their community who can understand and relate to their needs. Dr. Kerby's goal is to grow the practice and the team.
